Kim Kardashian is passionate about criminal justice reform, as she points out in her trial for the 2016 robbery she faced in Paris.

In her testimony, the reality star said, she has “spent a lot of time in prisons around people that committed crimes” and “I really do believe in second chances and believe in rehabilitation.”

“I work in the justice system to provide these rehabilitation chances,” the aspiring lawyer said.

Her words echo her actions as she has worked for years giving various inmates a “second chance”.

The Menendez brothers are one such example. The mom-of-four has been vocal about the release of them, who were behind bars for life for killing their parents in 1989.

On her 44th birthday, Kim wished the pair’s release as she celebrated her special day with her family.

Not only this, the 44-year-old penned an article for NBC News, calling for another chance for the brothers.

“The killings are not excusable. I want to make that clear,” she wrote. “Nor is their behavior before, during, or after the crime. But we should not deny who they are today in their 50s.”

Also, in her testimony in the Paris robbery trial, Kim revealed she finished law school.
