Katie Price’s trip to Ibiza has been described as an escape from her turbulent marriage to Lee Andrews.
The former glamour model,48, jetted off to the island with her 24-year-old son for a much-needed break.
The mother and son headed to Wayne’s day club, where they partied together.
In a clip shared on Katie’s Instagram account, the mother-of-five was seen being greeted by Wayne onto the stage in the middle of the club’s garden.
Fans quickly noticed the bond between the friends writing: ‘They look like a real couple,’ while another added, ‘Match made in heaven! What’s happened to Lee Andrews?’
Now, insiders have told Closer that Katie’s trip to Ibiza was a welcome escape from her rollercoaster marriage to Lee, 43, and all the drama of the past few months.
The source said: ‘Katie took off her wedding ring in Ibiza and seemed determined to enjoy herself. It’s been a rocky few months for her – with Lee’s disappearance and stint in prison – so she loved spending a few days without discussing it.
‘It was almost like she wanted one weekend where nobody was asking about Lee. Frankly, she feels lost about what’s going on there; she loves drama but even she’s finished with all the lies, twists and turns.
‘Katie’s known Wayne for years, and loved seeing him again. She’ll be the first to confess that she loves a flirt – and that was definitely going on! She enjoyed the attention far more than she was willing to admit.’
Katie’s outing comes after the reality star was criticised for not attending The Stripper premiere after previously begging for a part.
