The ongoing heatwave in Karachi is expected to continue, with the weather likely to remain hot and humid despite partly cloudy conditions throughout the day.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature recorded in the city on Sunday was 29.5 degrees Celsius. Humidity levels were recorded at 75 percent, which is expected to make the weather feel hotter than the actual temperature.
The current temperature in Karachi was recorded at 31 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature is expected to range between 35 and 37 degrees Celsius during the day.
The Met Office said southwesterly winds were blowing at a speed of 8 kilometers per hour. However, there is no forecast of rain for the city at present.
