Kanye West just released a surreal new music video directed by his wife Bianca Censori.
On Tuesday, August 18, the iconic rapper dropped a new music video for his song Ok (feat. Don Toliver), which appeared on the deluxe edition of Ye’s BULLY album in June.
The video opens in a morgue with doctors operating on a headless Ye and removing random objects from his body, including two doves, a rose, and even his heart. Meanwhile, a security guard brings in Ye’s decapitated head and lays it next to the operating table.
When Toliver’s verse begins, he emerges from a locker and watches the strange procedure before eventually reattaching West’s head and bringing him back to life.
West then sits up and sharpens a sword as a duel plays out nearby. After the fight ends, both musicians return to face the camera.
The directorial credit was given to Censori, who drew on her architectural background to create the video’s unusual setting and imagery. A press release said she “crafts an absurdist sequential narrative, placing emphasis on objects and setting to construct and reveal hidden meanings.”
West teased the video shortly before its release, sharing a photo of himself and Toliver on set with the caption, “TODAY.”
Censori and West met after he contacted her on Instagram and hired her to work for Yeezy in 2020. They secretly married in December 2022, shortly after his divorce from Kim Kardashian was finalised.
