Justin Bieber is reportedly struggling with mental health issues amid reports for marriage trouble with wife Hailey Bieber, but sources say he has found a way to combat the issue and focus on healing.
After coming under fire for kissing Sexyy Red on the cheek and telling fans in an Instagram post that he once told his wife Hailey she’d never be on a Vogue cover, Justin is reportedly reconnecting with his parents to get better.
The singer has had a turbulent relationship with his parents over the past several years. He fell out with his mom, Pattie Mallette, between 2013 and 2015, during which period he was arrested for DUI and faced many scandals over erratic behavior.
In the recent years, the singer has been closer to his father, Jeremy Bieber, than to his mom.
“Justin loves his parents very much,” a source told Daily Mail. “He has a complex relationship with them, but there’s still a lot of love there.”
The Baby hitmaker is close to his dad’s kids, Jazmyn, 16, and son, Jaxon, 14, and Bay, 6.
“Justin loves them all, and they love him,” said the mole. “They’ve got a good sibling relationship.”
However the singer previously revealed that his father left him and his mom for a year when he was four, and was in jail when he was born.
“He was immature,” Justin said. “He left for like a year when I was about four, went to British Columbia, came back on Father’s Day. I remember my mom said, ‘If you’re going to be here, you have to be here.’ There’s a misconception that he’s this deadbeat dad, but he has been in my life since. I was with him on weekends and Wednesdays.”
The sources say the Beauty and a Beat hitmaker is trying to forgive his dad for being absent and heal that relationship.
“He’s worked through all the absenteeism and he now respects his father for the man who he is,” they said. “They are good.”
Regarding Justin Bieber’s relationship with Pattie, the source said, “He has his moments with Pattie, but right now, she’s the one he talks to less frequently.”
