Jennifer Lopez shared rare insights into her bond with her twins Max and Emme.
In a recent chat with E! News, the mom of two discussed that whenever she and her kids have a conversation she is just a mother then not a pop star and what’s going on in their life is the main topic of discussion, not Lopez’s work.
“I’m so just mom to them that they don’t really get involved with my work too much,” she told the outlet. “They don’t even know I’m doing the American Music Awards. I have to fill them in when we’re having dinner.”
Lopez noted that her kids are currently focusing on their high school graduation, and preparing for college.
“We’re talking more about school,” the Atlas star continued. “We’re talking about their friends at school and their homework and making sure they’re getting their stuff done. That’s our conversations, and how they’re doing and how they’re feeling and all that.”
“We don’t really get into, ‘Mommy’s performing over here tomorrow. To them, it’s just like, ‘Oh, Mommy is going to work,’” she added.
