Jay-Z slammed by judge for aggressive tactics in teenage rape case

Jay-Z has been slammed by the judge for over his aggressive tactics used in case of raping a 13-year-old girl in 2000.

As reported by Daily Mail, Jay-Z, who real name is Shawn Corey Carter, was schooled during the hearing by Judge Analisa Torres for “wasting court resources” in a five-page filing released on Thursday, December 26.

Moreover, the 55-year-old music mogul’s lawyer’s aggressive legal tactics were described as “combative” and filled with “inflammatory language and ad hominem attacks”.

According to the judge’s ruling, Carter’s lawyer’s relentless filing was a tactic unlikely to benefit his client.

“The Court will not fast-track the judicial process merely because counsel demands it,” the judge ruled.

Moreover, favouring his accuser, the judge, according to PEOPLE, allowed the woman to remain anonymous in the rape lawsuit.

In a dramatic turn of events, Jay-Z along with Sean “Diddy” Combs is embroiled in a rape suit which took place 24 years ago.

The lawsuit, filed by Jane Doe on December 8, accused the music moguls of raping a 13-year-old girl at a house party following the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards.

Jay-Z was later added to the case as an alleged participant, which he vehemently denies.

The rapper has since been demanding the dismissal of the lawsuit, calling it “false” and urging the accuser to be named publicly.
