The minister added that Pakistan’s diplomatic initiatives have elevated its global standing.

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal said that the world is closely watching Pakistan, adding that the country has played a key role in preventing wider destruction and promoting peace in the region.

He stated that instead of showing jealousy, India should be grateful, claiming that Pakistan helped avert a situation that could have led to widespread devastation, including impacts on global economies.

Ahsan Iqbal remarked that efforts to secure a ceasefire have earned Pakistan international recognition, adding that global attention is currently focused on peace talks taking place in Islamabad involving American and Iranian delegations.

He further said that Pakistan’s leadership, including the Prime Minister and military leadership, played a crucial role in facilitating these developments, emphasizing that regional stability has improved as a result of diplomatic efforts.

The minister added that Pakistan’s diplomatic initiatives have elevated its global standing, reiterating that the country has contributed to preventing escalation and supporting peace in the region.
