The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the nominees for the November Player of the Month awards.

In the men’s category, South Africa’s spinner Simon Harmer, Bangladesh’s Taijul Islam, and Pakistan’s all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz have made it to the top three.

Harmer delivered an exceptional performance against India in a two-Test series, claiming 17 wickets and securing the Player of the Series award.

Pakistan’s Mohammad Nawaz impressed in the tri-nation series against Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka, taking 10 wickets and earning the Player of the Series title.

Bangladesh’s Taijul Islam secured 13 wickets in the home Test series against Ireland, also being named Player of the Series.

In the women’s category, ICC shortlisted India’s Shafali Verma, Thailand’s Thepacha Putthawong, and UAE’s Esha Oza for the November Women’s Player of the Month award.

Earlier, International Cricket Council had unveiled the latest updates to its Test, One Day International and T20 rankings, featuring notable progress by several international stars.

Pakistan’s emerging talent Saim Ayub has created history by rising to the No. 1 position in the ICC T20 all-rounders’ rankings, marking a major achievement for Pakistan cricket on the global stage.

In the Test batsmen standings, England’s batting mainstay Joe Root continues to reign at the top. Australia’s dynamic left-hander Travis Head advanced one spot to break into the top five.

Sri Lanka’s in-form batter Kamindu Mendis moved up one place to sixth, while Pakistan’s reliable middle-order star Saud Shakeel currently holds the 11th position.

In the Test bowlers’ chart, India’s premier fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has successfully defended his No. 1 ranking.

South Africa’s towering pacer Marco Jansen surged five places to enter the top five. Pakistan’s left-arm spinner Noman Ali remains firmly placed at third, while South Africa’s seasoned spinner Simon Harmer jumped an impressive thirteen spots to climb to 11th.

In the Test all-rounders’ rankings, India’s seasoned campaigner Ravindra Jadeja continues to dominate at the summit.

Marco Jansen progressed four places to occupy second position, while South Africa’s Senuran Muthusamy made a significant leap of fourteen places to reach 20th.

The latest rankings reflect the dynamic nature of international cricket and underline Pakistan’s steadily growing influence across formats.
