Holly Willoughby opened up about how much her life changed after leaving This Morning.
The TV presenter admitted that she quickly got used to slowing down after years of working almost every day.
Speaking on Alan Carr and Lee Peart’s Bottoms Up! podcast, Holly laughed as she described herself as “half woman, half mattress” after stepping away from the ITV show in 2023.
She said she was surprised by how easily she settled into a much quieter routine now.
After spending years balancing work and family, Holly added that she enjoyed staying at home and taking life at a slower pace.
The presenter also joked about becoming a “basic b****” when it comes to wine, saying she enjoys a simple glass of Merlot.
She, however, even shared her favourite hangover cure, saying she keeps eating all day.
Her honest chat came just days after she opened her new YouTube lifestyle show, Together. The series, moreover, marks a new start for her after spending much of the past few years away from regular television.
Holly said the idea came from watching how her children enjoy online content now.
The show will present cooking, fashion, beauty, entertainment and real life stories.
