    • Cause of death could not initially be determined: report.
    • Reports shows Hina’s neck bone was also fractured.

RAWALPINDI: The post-mortem report of Hina Javed, who was killed in Rawalpindi’s Lalkurti area, has revealed injuries to several parts of the victim’s body.

According to the report, Hina’s neck bone was fractured, while injury marks were also found on her ribs and hip bone.

Hina’s body was found in a bathroom at her home in the Lalkurti area within the jurisdiction of the Civil Lines police station.

Police later arrested her husband, Faisal Asghar, and his employee Zeeshan for allegedly murdering the victim. Hina had been married for nine months to the prime suspect, according to police officials.

Police had told the doctor in an initial report that Hina was hanged by her husband.

Meanwhile, the post-mortem report showed that the victim’s pericardium and heart were filled with blood.

The post-mortem was conducted by Dr Maria Khalid 12 hours after her death, according to the report.

DNA samples were collected from the victim’s body and sent to a laboratory, while other samples were also dispatched for forensic examination to determine the cause of death.

The report said that the cause of death could not initially be determined clearly.

Lady Constable Rafia Tabassum took the samples from the body for the post-mortem and forensic examination, according to the report.

The findings of the post-mortem report emerged a day after a local court in Rawalpindi sent the two suspects on a three-day physical remand.

The police produced Asghar and Zeeshan before the magistrate and sought their physical remand. The investigation officer told the court that they recovered a rope and wire allegedly used in the murder from the suspects.

Approving the police request, the magistrate sent the suspects in police custody on three-day physical remand.

Police further said that Asghar’s father had also been included in the investigation. His statement has been recorded, according to police.
