Obviously, there are people within South Asia and the Middle East who really like the story, but also the diaspora community.

But even more than that, it’s really a specific audience who are into action and thriller films, mainstream action and thriller films.

It just happens to have real footage, and it happens to be a documentary.”Moreover, the documentary is a co-production of EverWonder Studio, Universal Pictures Content Group, Mindhouse Productions and 64th Street Media.

It has been written and produced by Bilal Sami, as well as directed and produced by Mohammed Ali Naqvi. ‘Hanging by a Wire’s sucess: Inside Pakistan’s Oscar submission November 6, 2026.
