ISLAMABAD: The federal government has slightly reduced the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel, according to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division.
The notification said the new prices will remain in effect from August 29 through August 31.
The price of petrol was cut by 58 paisas per liter, bringing it down to 342.02 rupees per liter.
The price of diesel was reduced by 17 paisas per liter to 371.44 rupees per liter.

Earlier, the government has announced a slight reduction in the prices of petroleum products.
The price of petrol has been reduced by Rs. 0.50 per liter, while high-speed diesel has become cheaper by Rs. 0.19 per liter.
According to a notification issued by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), the new price of petrol has been set at Rs342.60 per liter, while the new price of high-speed diesel is Rs371.61 per liter.
