Frankie Muniz is not slowing down anytime soon.

The longtime actor, now 40, is gearing up for a packed 2026 as he continues to chase his racing dreams with full force.

Muniz will return for his second full season in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series with Team Reaume, driving a Ford F-150.

On top of that, he’s expanding into sports car racing as a driver for TechSport Racing, where he’ll take the wheel of a Ford Mustang GT4 in the GT4 America season.

He’ll be teamed up with co-driver Tyler Stone.

Racing has been part of Muniz’s life for two decades, beginning his journey in 2004 before going professional in 2006.

He joined Reaume as a full-time NASCAR driver in 2025 with the No. 33 truck, and now, he’s doubling the challenge.

Talking to PEOPLE, he admitted the year ahead will be packed, 25 NASCAR races, seven GT4 America races and even the debut of the four-episode revival Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair.

He called the schedule “pretty intense,” but excitement clearly outweighs exhaustion.

He revealed that he thought he might have crossed the finish line for good last season.

“If I’m being 100% honest, I really thought that last year was gonna be my final year racing,” Muniz said.

He explained how his last race in Phoenix made him wonder if that was the end of his NASCAR journey, until the moment pushed him to realize the opposite.

“And it was really in that moment that I was like, ‘No way. I’m not done with this. The story is not done. I haven’t accomplished the goals that I want to accomplish in it,’ ” he shared.

“There’s still a lot of unfinished business.”

Muniz also reflected on how rare and special this opportunity is for him at 40.

Racing at the highest level is demanding, and he knows not many get this shot. He said he feels lucky and grateful to be “one of maybe 100 people on the entire planet” with a NASCAR racing license.

With more ambition left to burn and big goals ahead, Muniz is keeping his foot firmly on the accelerator, proving that passion doesn’t come with an age limit.
