The first day of the India AI Impact Summit began amid strong criticism and disappointment, as participants and startup founders raised concerns over the event’s management and complained about disorganization.

Exhibitors reported that strict security arrangements prevented them from reaching their booths, while entry points remained closed for several hours ahead of the Prime Minister’s visit. The situation disrupted business activities and caused frustration among attendees.

Participants also faced difficulties due to heavy traffic and air pollution, while complaints about water shortages and overcrowding were widely reported. Power outages and poor ventilation at the venue triggered strong reactions on social media.

Several startup founders protested during the event, accusing the organizers of failing to prevent theft incidents. Organizers were reportedly unable to provide satisfactory explanations regarding these complaints.

Despite the presence of global technology experts, mismanagement remained a major concern throughout the day. Holding the conference in polluted conditions also raised health concerns among attendees.

As a result, despite high expectations and extensive promotion, the first day of the India AI Impact Summit was overshadowed by controversy and criticism, with many participants expressing their dissatisfaction online.

Bolna co-founder Matria Wagh also posted on X, saying that the gates were closed and he was unable to reach his booth. He added that if anyone was stuck outside and wanted to meet the Bolna team, they could message him, and he might set up a small booth at a café in Connaught Place, a business district located near the summit venue.
