The controversy started when Rajab appeared on a TikTok live with Indian TikToker Ria. During the session, he was flirtatious and openly told her that he loved her. When Ria asked why he usually acts aggressively with others but was being soft with her, Rajab replied that it was because he loved her. Ria, who lives in Dubai, seemed surprised by his sudden affection.
Amid the backlash, Rajab’s mother defended him, saying he does these live sessions for “charity.” This defense has raised further concerns since Rajab is married and has a child.
