He said Harry could earn between $250,000 and $750,000 for a regular speech, and up to $1 million for very exclusive events.But Schiffer said not every event Prince Harry attends is about getting paid.During his recent trip, Prince Harry, 42, took part in several events focused on charity and important causes.

He spoke at the Clinton Global Initiative about the dangers of social media and AI for kids.

He also spoke at the Skift Global Forum about protecting the environment, talking about his conservation work in Botswana and mentioning his late mother, Princess Diana.Later that week, he made a surprise visit to a Diana Award event, where he talked about mental health and helping young people in the workplace.It's not clear if the Duke of Sussex was paid for any of these specific appearances.

But Schiffer said even free appearances help keep Prince Harry in the public eye, which could lead to more paid opportunities later.Schiffer also thinks Prince Harry might be avoiding big paid deals right now on purpose.

He believes Prince Harry is trying to fix his relationship with his father, King Charles, and improve how he and wife Meghan Markle are seen by the public in the US.Even so, Schiffer said Prince Harry could still make a lot of money if he wanted to.

He noted that Prince Harry's recent activities seem mostly charitable and much smaller compared to business deals Prince Harry has made in the past.
