RAWALPINDI: The National Peace Message Committee (NPAC) has assured full cooperation in promoting the national narrative during a meeting with Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry at the General Headquarters (GHQ).

According to the ISPR, the discussions focused on internal security in the context of banned terrorist groups TTP and TTA, strengthening a unified stance, and reaffirming Pakistan’s principled position on Kashmir and Gaza.

Lieutenant General Chaudhry emphasized that consensus on the national narrative and unity in matters of national security are vital, and supporting the oppressed is Pakistan’s moral responsibility.

During the meeting, NPAC pledged complete cooperation for the promotion of the national narrative and expressed unwavering solidarity with the Armed Forces against anti-state narratives.

The committee also condemned extremism and groups like Fita-e-Khawarij and Afghan Taliban, stating that terrorism is never justified.

NPAC announced plans to promote messages of unity, social harmony, and constitutional equality nationwide, while adopting a zero-tolerance policy against hatred, sectarianism, and Takfiri ideologies.

NPAC further proposed awareness sessions in mosques, madrassas, and universities to support the state narrative.

DG ISPR highlighted that public awareness and truth-based narratives are decisive tools to counter psychological warfare by adversaries.

He described the meeting as highly productive and expressed optimism about new avenues for trust-building and practical cooperation.
