A new comedy is shaking up Hollywood with a hilarious take on fame, mistaken identity, namely “I’m RAYAN” and one ordinary man suddenly thrust into the spotlight he never asked for.

The movie follows Bryan, a man who looks exactly like actor Ryan Reynolds.

Instead of enjoying the resemblance, Bryan becomes a pawn in a fast-growing scheme led by his ambitious manager, Henry.

    Henry’s big plan:

Henry sees dollar signs where Bryan only feels confusion. He exploits Bryan’s uncanny similarity to Reynolds, pushing him into red carpets, celebrity parties, and high-profile events.

While Henry cashes in, Bryan stumbles through fame, constantly mistaken for someone he is not.

    From impersonation to chaos:

The film mixes comedy with satire, poking fun at celebrity culture and society’s obsession with fame.

While it also shows how quickly image and identity can be manipulated when ambition meets opportunity.

    Behind the scenes:

Carl Jackson wrote and directed the movie and also produced it through Carl Jackson Entertainment. The film hits U.S. theaters on May 22, 2026.

    The cast includes:

    • Hobart as Bryan, the confused doppelganger
    • Sherif Mattar as Henry, the scheming manager
    • Briana Nicole as Charlotte, the girl next door
    • Suzy Coffield Quinn as Henry’s mother
    • Joyce Young Kim in a supporting role
    • Hettie Lynne Hurtes as Henry’s grandmother
    • Tim Alcoser in a comedic “Cops are in the area” segment

    Fast-paced comedy:

The movie runs 1 hour and 30 minutes. Although it promises misunderstandings, celebrity chaos, and exaggerated Hollywood satire.

Cinematography is by Oleksandr Zemlyanyy, with sound design by Wooin Jeon.

Moreover, the story explores what happens when fame is borrowed, not earned.

It shows how reality blurs when someone looks like one of the world’s biggest stars.

Furthermore, comedy delivers laughs, chaos, and a clever critique of celebrity culture, proving that sometimes looking famous can be as risky as being famous.
