Bonnie Tyler’s fans gathered in Mumbles to say goodbye as the singer’s coffin was brought back to her former home.
People stood along the streets on August 14 as the hearse travelled through Mumbles. Many fans brought flowers and cards to remember the much loved singer.
Tyler, who was famous for songs such as Total Eclipse Of The Heart, died aged 75 in a hospital in Portugal on July 9.
Her coffin was taken to her former home in Fernhill before being moved to her home in Llwynderw.
A celebration of Tyler’s life will be held at Swansea Minster St Mary’s Church on August 17 at noon. Her family, friends and invited guests will attend the service.
Afterwards, Tyler’s coffin will be taken through Skewen, her hometown, at around 1:20pm. A private service will then be held for her family.
Tyler, however, was seriously ill before her death. In May, she had emergency surgery for an intestinal problem at a hospital in Faro, Portugal.
She was later placed in an induced coma to help her recover. In June, her team said she that woken up from the coma but was still very ill and receiving care in hospital.
Her health had slowly improved, but she died weeks later.
