Karachi: Tonight, Pakistan will witness “Blood Moon” during a total lunar eclipse, offering a spectacular celestial show for astronomy enthusiasts, students, and skywatchers alike.

According to the spokesperson of SUPARCO (Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission), the lunar eclipse will begin at 8:30 PM. The eclipse will reach its peak at 1:55 AM, when the Earth’s shadow will completely cover the moon.

The total lunar eclipse will continue until the early hours of the morning, providing ample opportunity for observers to enjoy this rare event.

The eclipse will also be visible in parts of Asia, Africa, and Europe. Weather permitting, the eclipse will be clearly visible across most regions of Pakistan.

Observers are advised that watching the lunar eclipse with the naked eye is completely safe. For a more detailed view, binoculars or telescopes can be used.
