Karachi: Marking Pakistan Day with a message imbued with conviction and national pride, Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari extended his profound felicitations to the nation describing 23rd March as not merely a date in history but a timeless testament to unity, resilience, and the unwavering determination that shaped the destiny of a nation.

In his message, he paid homage to the founding fathers who, under the sagacious leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, secured independence through a principled democratic and constitutional struggle.

He observed that the Lahore Resolution encapsulated the collective aspirations of a people who envisioned a sovereign state founded upon the pillars of freedom, dignity, and justice.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari further lauded the unparalleled sacrifices of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, acknowledging their resolute commitment to democratic ideals and the protection of fundamental rights.

He underscored that their enduring legacy continues to illuminate the path towards the realisation of a just, inclusive, and progressive Pakistan.

Underscoring the contemporary relevance of the day, he called upon the nation to renew its pledge to construct a Pakistan that faithfully reflects the vision of its founders one that is resilient, democratic, and compassionate.

He emphasised that the present moment demands a reinvigoration of our collective commitment to the principles of democracy, equality, and social justice, which constitute the very bedrock of the nation’s identity.

Concluding his message on an optimistic note, he asserted that through unity, determination, and shared purpose, Pakistan can undoubtedly forge a future that is worthy of its illustrious past.
