Renowned Pakistani singer Atif Aslam has announced his fourth studio album, “Subah Aye Na,” marking his first full length album release in nearly 18 years.
The upcoming project includes eight original tracks and represents a major milestone in Aslam’s musical career. He shared the album’s artwork on Instagram along with the official tracklist, which includes “Subah Aye Na,” “Safar Mein Hoon,” “Ishq,” “Let’s Have Some Fun,” “Sunn Sajna,” “Chaar Yaar,” and “Sachey Wadey.”
This marks Aslam’s first studio album since “Meri Kahani,” released in 2008, which included well known songs like “Tere Bin,” “Kaun Tha,” “Kinara,” and its title track.
Before that, Aslam released “Doorie” in 2006, featuring fan favorites such as “Kuch Is Tarah” and “Maahi Ve.” His debut album, “Jal Pari,” came out in 2004 and helped establish him as a leading pop-rock artist, featuring hits like “Aadat,” “Bheegi Yaadein,” and “Woh Lamhe.”
Over the years, Aslam has become one of South Asia’s most celebrated singers, delivering numerous chart topping songs for both Pakistani and Indian films.
His catalog includes widely popular tracks such as “Tu Jaane Na,” “Pehli Nazar Mein,” “Tera Hone Laga Hoon,” “Jeena Jeena,” “Dil Diyan Gallan,” “Jeene Laga Hoon,” “O Saathi,” and “Main Rang Sharbaton Ka.”
Beyond film music, Aslam has performed on Coke Studio, collaborated with international artists, and built a strong global touring presence. His most recent collaboration, “Tu Hi Mera Raazdaan,” with British Azerbaijani musician Sami Yusuf, was recorded live at Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Arena.
News of “Subah Aye Na” has generated excitement among fans, many of whom have welcomed Aslam’s return to the full album format after years of primarily releasing singles and film tracks.
The project marks Aslam’s first studio album since 2008, giving longtime listeners a fresh collection of original music while reinforcing his standing as one of Pakistan’s most influential musical artists.
For an artist whose career has largely been defined by film soundtracks and standalone singles over the past decade and a half, a full studio album offers a different kind of creative showcase.
