Amitabh Bachchan recalls how he and Jaya married just a day after deciding

The veteran actor revealed that the decision was made so quickly that the couple tied the knot just a day after discussing marriage.According to Gulf News, Bachchan spoke about his wedding while interacting with Kolkata contestant Aheli Roy on Kaun Banega Crorepati 18.

During the conversation, Aheli asked him how he had convinced Jaya’s family before their marriage.Bachchan said there was no lengthy discussion or elaborate planning between the families.

Instead, he simply suggested to Jaya that they should get married, and she agreed.

"I told Jaya one day that we should get married, and that was it – the decision was made", he said.He added, "After the marriage was decided, Jaya ji must have gone and told her parents.

We don’t even know what she must have said, but they agreed and came over.
