Ally Lewber has confirmed her breakup with James Kennedy following his recent domestic violence arrest.
The 28-year-old shared the news via Instagram Stories on Thursday, just hours after it was revealed that Kennedy would not face charges related to the December 11 incident.
In her emotional statement, Lewber wrote, “Thank you for all your support and kindness. I am happy that prosecutors decided not to file against James as I never desired criminal charges. We had an argument outside of his home related to him drinking again; however, I was not physically hurt.”
Moreover, the Vanderpump Rules star expressed disappointment at how the incident was portrayed publicly but emphasized her continued support for Kennedy.
In this regard, she concluded, “We are no longer together, but I’ll always support James and wish him the best with his sobriety and healing.”
According to Daily Mail, Kennedy’s arrest occurred after Burbank police responded to reports of a dispute between a man and woman outside his residence.
While officers noted no visible injuries on the alleged victim, Kennedy was arrested on misdemeanor domestic battery charges. He was released after posting a $20,000 bail.
Following the arrest, speculation swirled about the couple’s relationship status. While Kennedy reportedly described their situation as “taking a break,” sources close to the pair believe the relationship is over, as per the publication.
Furthermore, Lewber and Kennedy began dating in 2022 after his engagement to Vanderpump Rules co-star Rachel Leviss ended.
