Dubai: «Al Khaleej» Mattar Al Tayer, Director-General and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai, announced that the commercial transport sector, which is supervised by the Authority, achieved exceptional performance indicators in 2024, as the number of companies operating in the sector increased, from 9,000 companies, to 12,100. company, recording a growth of 34% compared to 2023, and the number of vehicles registered in the commercial and logistical transport sector increased by more than 100 thousand vehicles, bringing the total The number of vehicles reached more than 400 thousand vehicles, recording a growth of 31% compared to 2023. Al Tayer stressed that the results achieved are the result of the Authority’s application of international best practices, improving commercial licensing services, and developing the regulatory framework.
