Afghanistan is being used as a launching pad for militant activities has created widespread anxiety among ordinary Afghan citizens.

Afghan politician and leader of the National Resistance Front, Ahmad Massoud, has expressed serious concern over the current situation in Afghanistan, strongly criticizing the policies of the Taliban government.

Massoud said that the present crisis in Afghanistan is a direct result of the Taliban regime’s policies and actions. According to him, the country has become an increasingly difficult place for ordinary citizens to live, while at the same time turning into a safe haven for various militant groups.

He stated that the situation resembles the past when Al-Qaeda and its former leader Osama bin Laden were given refuge in Afghanistan. Massoud warned that a similar environment appears to be emerging once again.

Massoud also claimed that more than twenty militant organizations are currently active in Afghanistan, including Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan. He said the presence of these groups poses a serious threat to peace and stability across the region.

He further argued that the Taliban government’s policies have led to growing insecurity and economic hardship in Afghanistan. According to Massoud, many Afghans are increasingly frustrated with the current system, and resentment toward the Taliban regime is rising.

Meanwhile, experts say the perception that Afghanistan is being used as a launching pad for militant activities has created widespread anxiety among ordinary Afghan citizens. Analysts believe that under the current Taliban rule, Afghanistan is once again becoming the focus of global debate regarding terrorism.

Experts add that many Afghans are growing weary of the Taliban’s strict policies, authoritarian governance, and the deteriorating security situation. They believe the Afghan people are searching for new solutions to achieve political stability and lasting peace in the country.
