“Abu Dhabi District” issues deterrent sentences with 8 prisoners convicted in cases of sexual exploitation for children via the Internet

Abu Dhabi: “The Gulf”, the Abu Dhabi Criminal Court issued rulings on convicting 8 accused of crimes of sexual exploitation of children via the Internet, after their lure through electronic gaming platforms and social media, and their seduction to send pornography, in addition to possessing and exchange of inappropriate content for children. The sentences issued in prison ranged between 3 years and 15 years, with financial fines that reached one million dirhams, with the confiscation of phones and devices used to commit crimes, depriving the convicts of the use of any future information network, and closing their electronic accounts related to these crimes, while deporting the state for three convicts after the implementation of the punishment.
