Serious concerns have surfaced regarding security arrangements and administrative control during the ongoing matric annual examinations in Karachi, as multiple violations of examination protocols point to significant lapses in enforcement at highly sensitive examination centres.

Circulating video footage on social media shows unauthorized individuals including social media content creators and TikTok users entering restricted examination premises and recording videos.

The incidents have raised critical concerns about the effectiveness of access control measures and the overall management of examination centres.

Further footage reportedly indicates that solved examination materials were seen in the possession of unauthorized individuals at certain locations.

This development has intensified concerns regarding the security of examination papers and has raised questions about the credibility and integrity of the ongoing examination process.

The situation has become more complex amid allegations of coordination between cheating networks and social media activity, suggesting a broader challenge in maintaining discipline and transparency during the examination period.

These incidents are taking place despite the enforcement of Section 144 in the city, which strictly prohibits unauthorized entry into examination centres. The apparent failure to ensure compliance has raised concerns over administrative oversight and enforcement effectiveness.

Education stakeholders and experts have expressed serious concern over the developments, emphasizing that examination centres are highly sensitive environments that require strict regulation, monitoring, and security protocols at all times.

They have urged immediate corrective action, stronger enforcement mechanisms, and accountability measures to restore the integrity of the examination system and prevent further breaches.
