MG Motor Pakistan has hinted at launching a new vehicle in the local market through its official social media pages.

The teaser image shows the front look of the car in darkness, highlighting sleek LED headlights and a modern design. The company described it as “a new kind of power,” suggesting the model will focus on strong performance and advanced technology.

Although MG has not revealed the name of the vehicle, this comes after the IM6 was recently spotted in Pakistan inside a container with clear branding. MG is likely to introduce IM models under its own name, as the IM series belongs to Intelligence in Motion, a premium electric vehicle brand supported by SAIC Motor, Alibaba, and Zhangjiang Hi-Tech. SAIC, which owns MG, sells these vehicles globally under the MG brand.

If launched, the IM6 could bring high-end electric performance to Pakistan. The top variant is expected to feature an all-wheel-drive system, accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in about 3.48 seconds, and produce up to 741 horsepower.

The vehicle is also likely to come with a 100 kWh battery, offering an estimated range of around 505 kilometers on the WLTP cycle. It may also support ultra-fast charging, allowing the battery to charge from 10 to 80 percent in about 17 minutes.

MG has not announced an official launch date yet, but the teaser indicates that a new model may be introduced soon.
