KARACHI: Gold prices are witnessing a continuous upward trend across the country, reflecting strong movements in both local and international markets.

Meanwhile, in the international market, gold prices have climbed by $35 per ounce, reaching $4,811, further driving the upward trend in domestic rates.

As gold prices continue to climb, silver rates have also surged across the country, reflecting broader trends in the precious metals market.

According to market data, the price of silver per tola has increased by Rs144, reaching Rs8,404, while the price of 10 grams has gone up by Rs124 to stand at Rs7,205.

It is worth noting that after a brief decline in both global and local gold prices over the weekend and Monday, an upward trend was recorded again in the previous trading session, pushing precious metal prices higher.
