Examination centers unfinalized, admit cards undelivered, materials incomplete.

Karachi: Panic and uncertainty grip Karachi as arrangements for the 9th and 10th grade matriculation exams spiral into disarray just days before they are scheduled to start.

Millions of students, parents, and teachers are thrown into anxiety, with examination centers still unfinalized, admit cards undelivered, and essential exam materials incomplete, casting serious doubts over the feasibility of holding the exams on time.

Amid this turmoil, the Grand Alliance of Private Schools Associations Sindh has urgently demanded the postponement of the exams and the immediate announcement of a new, safe schedule.

According to the alliance the lack of finalized examination centers, incomplete delivery of materials, and missing admit cards make it impossible to conduct exams smoothly for millions of students.

The Grand Alliance has called on the Minister of Universities and Boards Sindh, Muhammad Ismail Rao to postpone the exams scheduled for 7 April by at least one week giving authorities enough time to complete arrangements and ensure the examinations are conducted fairly, safely, and transparently.

The alliance further warned that under the current chaotic conditions, nearly 400,000 students could face a compromised unfair examination process. They stressed that students, teachers, and parents are under immense stress, and attempting to finalize everything in a single day is impossible.

In response, a spokesperson for the Karachi Matriculation Board stated that all arrangements have been completed, admit cards have been uploaded on the board’s website, and private candidates have received their cards at their residential addresses.

The board office will remain open even on holidays, and candidates who have not received their admit cards can approach Room No. 5 for immediate assistance.
