Southern Punjab including Multan, Bahawalpur and other cities expected to receive similar conditions on March 18th and 19.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a weather alert as a new western weather system enters the country today, affecting the western regions and expected to influence the weather until March 20.

According to PMD, Karachi and other districts of Sindh will experience strong westerly winds, moderate to heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and possible light hail on March 18 and 19. The system may also cause gusty winds and lightning in the city.

On 19th March, rain is also expected in Jamshoro, Hyderabad, Thatta, Badin, Sujawal, Tando Muhammad Khan, Tando Allahyar, Umerkot, Tharparkar, Sanghar, Mirpurkhas, Nawabshah, Dadu, Larkana, Qambar Shahdadkot, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Kashmore, and Ghotki.

The Meteorological Department has advised farmers to adjust their crop management plans in line with the expected weather, as heavy rains, strong winds, and hail could potentially affect agricultural areas.
