As Eid-ul-Fitr approaches, Kashmiri Chooriyan (Kashmiri bangles) are gaining widespread popularity across Pakistan, emerging as one of the season’s most talked-about fashion trends.

One of the most viral styles this season is the Raindrop or textured glass bangles, recognized for their unique glass effect that resembles raindrops. These bangles are often sold in coordinated sets and frequently paired with metallic or pearl accents, making them suitable for both traditional and modern Eid ensembles.

Authentic Kashmiri bangles are also appreciated for their detailed craftsmanship. Many designs feature silk thread wrapping, gota work, tilla embroidery, and bead or pearl embellishments, highlighting the traditional artistry associated with these accessories.

Some collections include marble-like glass finishes or crystal karas, available in multi-colour combinations that complement festive attire.

Another trending variant is the Ghungroo bangles, which incorporate small bells that produce a subtle sound while worn. These designs combine decorative appeal with a traditional aesthetic, making them a popular choice for festive occasions.

Known for their intricate handcrafted designs and distinctive textures, these bangles stand apart from standard glass or metal bangles and are becoming a preferred accessory for festive outfits.

Retailers are promoting these handcrafted bangles as a blend of tradition and luxury, often featuring velvet textures, pearl detailing, and Kundan embellishments. Designed specifically for festive wear, the bangles are marketed as accessories that add elegance and cultural charm to Eid celebrations.

For shoppers who prefer to buy in person often at lower prices than online local market vendors report that Kashmiri chooriyan are currently available in several areas of Karachi, including Bolton Market, Jama Cloth Market, Hyderi Market, and Tariq Road.

With Eid preparations in full swing, Kashmiri bangles are becoming a prominent part of festive fashion, offering shoppers a combination of traditional craftsmanship and seasonal style.
