China’s Permanent Representative Fu Cong criticized the Taliban authorities and said several terrorist organizations are active in Afghanistan.

United Nations: China has voiced serious concern over the presence of terrorist groups in Afghanistan, warning that the situation is increasing international pressure on the Taliban regime.

Speaking at the United Nations, China’s Permanent Representative Fu Cong criticized the Taliban authorities and said several terrorist organizations are active in Afghanistan, including Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan, East Turkestan Islamic Movement, and Islamic State – Khorasan Province, among others.

Fu Cong warned that the presence of these groups poses a serious threat to neighboring countries. He noted that attacks targeting Chinese citizens in Afghanistan have also occurred, resulting in several casualties.

The Chinese envoy strongly condemned all forms of terrorism originating from Afghanistan and urged the Taliban authorities to acknowledge the seriousness of the threat.

He further called on the Taliban to eliminate all terrorist elements operating from Afghan territory and ensure that Afghanistan does not become a base for militant activities against other countries.
