Zayn Malik the voice behind hits like Night Changes and Dusk Till Dawn, has officially announced his highly anticipated fifth studio album, KONNAKOL, marking a new chapter in his musical journey.

The global pop star revealed the news on Wednesday via his Instagram account. “It’s that time again. I have been lucky enough to make a fifth studio album. My new album, KONNAKOL, out April 17th. Die for Me is out this Friday,” the father of one wrote. Pre-orders are available now on his official website, shop.inzayn.com.

According to media reports, KONNAKOL represents Zayn’s most culturally rooted project to date, subtly paying tribute to his South Asian heritage. The album is said to blend pop and R&B with Indian musical elements, reflecting a deeper exploration of his artistic identity.

Ahead of his Las Vegas residency, Zayn spoke about the creative direction of the album during a livestream. “I have been working on some cool stuff in South Asian music and bringing those influences into my music as well. It is like pop, R&B, and a lot of Indian influences. The record is like a continuation of Mind of Mine in that sense,” he explained.

Several media outlets have highlighted that KONNAKOL signals not only Zayn Malik’s evolving musical direction but also his willingness to embrace and celebrate his cultural roots.

The album is scheduled for worldwide streaming on April 17, 2026, promising a fusion of contemporary sounds and South Asian influences that showcase Zayn’s growth as an artist.
