Islamabad: According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), most regions across the country will experience cold, foggy mornings, while the daytime will be marked by mild, partly cloudy conditions.

The mountainous regions are expected to endure severe cold, particularly during the early morning and evening hours.

In areas like Gilgit-Baltistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and north-western Balochistan, scattered rain and light snowfall are anticipated, offering a glimpse of winter’s full force.

Meanwhile, the plains in Punjab, upper Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will face dense fog during both morning and night hours, affecting visibility and daily routines.

Islamabad and its surrounding areas are likely to experience cold weather coupled with cloudy skies, while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s districts will remain cold with partial cloud cover throughout the day.

The northern regions of Balochistan, including Quetta, are expected to be particularly chilly, with light rain and snowfall possible at higher altitudes.

In Sindh, the weather will remain dry, though the mornings and nights will be cold. Fog is expected to blanket cities like Sukkur, Rohri, and Larkana, reducing visibility during the early hours.

With no major changes expected in the coming days, the country’s overall weather will remain cold, with intermittent light rainfall and snowfall in select areas, especially in the northern and mountainous regions.
