President Asif Ali Zardari received the newly appointed ambassadors of Australia, Mauritius, Denmark, and the United Arab Emirates at Aiwan-e-Sadr, where they presented their diplomatic credentials.
A smartly turned-out contingent of the Pakistan Armed Forces offered a guard of honor to the foreign envoys on the occasion.
Congratulating the ambassadors on assuming their responsibilities, President Zardari expressed hope that their appointments would help further strengthen bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Pakistan and their respective countries.
In his meeting with the Australian High Commissioner, the President emphasized enhancing collaboration in trade, investment, and education. He noted that the Pakistani community and students in Australia serve as a strong bridge between the two nations.
During his discussion with the High Commissioner of Mauritius, both sides talked about increasing cooperation in trade, investment, agriculture, defence, and parliamentary exchanges. The President highlighted that Pakistan and Mauritius enjoy longstanding friendly ties built on shared heritage and cultural harmony.
In his meeting with the Ambassador of Denmark, President Asif Zardari discussed boosting cooperation in trade, agriculture, dairy, technology, and infrastructure. He appreciated Denmark’s support for Pakistan’s green transition and climate change agenda.
In his conversation with the UAE Ambassador, the President stressed strengthening bilateral trade, security, and defense cooperation. He said that Pakistan and the UAE share historic relations based on mutual trust and a shared commitment to peace and prosperity.
President Asif Zardari extended his best wishes to all four envoys and expressed confidence that their diplomatic roles would help advance relations with Pakistan through renewed trust and cooperation.
