Matters concerning public interest and other issues of mutual interest were also discussed.Both parties stressed the importance of constitutional institutions performing their respective responsibilities while maintaining institutional respect and cooperation in the region.

They also covered matters relating to public interest and the broader role of constitutional institutions in ensuring effective governance, protection of rights, and access to justice.The meeting came shortly after Dr Khan assumed the office of president of AJK.

The president, as head of state, and the chief justice of the SC occupy key positions within the constitutional framework of the region.The meeting concluded with an exchange of good wishes and a commitment to continue working within the constitutional framework for the welfare of the people of AJK.
