Michelle Obama is proud of having daughters with her husband Mraak Obama.
In a recent chat with her guest Angie Martinez on her podcast, IMO, the Light We Carry author opened up about why she is happy she and Obama have only two daughters and no son.
When her guest asked why she and the 44th president didn’t “throw in a third,” Michelle replied she is content with having only girls as if they had a son there would’ve been too much pressure on him to follow in Barak’s footsteps.
“I’m so glad I didn’t have a boy,” Michelle said on the 18th June episode of her show.
The 61-year-old writer went on to say, “Because he would’ve been a Barack Obama, I would’ve felt for him.”
Michelle’s brother and cohost Craig Robinson, who is father to three boys chimed in saying that she “just borrowed our boys.”
“I got plenty,” the Becoming author admitted.
It is pertinent to mention that Michelle and Barak are parents to 23-year-old Sasha Obama and 26-year-old Malia Obama.
