Ben Affleck is reportedly determined to find a new girlfriend just months after parting ways with the actress Jennifer Lopez.
On Wednesday, an insider told In Touch Weekly that the actor and filmmaker “needs somebody to take care of him and listen to his problems.”
“No matter what Ben says, the fact is he is most happy when he’s in a long term relationship with somebody he respects and sees as an equal,” the source said.
“He’s already had that a handful of times in his life, and he’s determined to find another relationship like that again, and have more kids if he can,” added the confidant.
For those unversed, the 52-year-old has a star-studded dating history outside of his much-publicized marital troubles.
He first romantically linked with Gwyneth Paltrow before his high-profile romance with Lopez.
Due to “excessive media attention” about their upcoming wedding, he moved on with Jennifer Garner and tied the knot with the actress in June 2005.
The Accountant star welcomed three children with Garner during their 13-year marriage.
In July 2022, Affleck exchanged vows with Lopez, but the marriage lasted only two years.
