Taylor Swift made a generous gesture for a fan in total secrecy, but the news reached social media and fans are awestruck by her kindness.
The 36-year-old pop superstar donated $50K to Ashley Taunton, a nurse, on GoFundMe when she learnt that she had been helping some teenagers who got their car hydroplaned.
Taunton took to social media promptly and shared a picture of herself sobbing, and wrote, “How is this even real. Thank you, I’m speechless. Taylor Swift, you are an incredible human. Sobbing with so much gratitude! Wish I could hug you IRL what a beautiful human you are! God bless you!”
Swifties flocked to appreciate the Opalite hitmaker as soon as the post made rounds on social media, writing, “oh taygenerous,” and “thats mother.”
A third chimed in, “I love Taylor! She does stuff simply out the kindness of her heart! & She doesn’t post about it like other ones do.”
More added, “I remember reading somewhere she like to doom scroll on gofundme and help people whenever she can,” and “Mother Tayresa.”
