The 23-year-old pop superstar shared her thoughts over Sienna Spiro’s cover of less, and Role Model’s cover of maggots for brains, in a new interview, stating that it feels “really special.”
The drop dead hitmaker said, “It’s so exciting to have people cover your songs. It’s like the coolest thing ever. Role Model covered maggots for brains, and Sienna Spiro covered my song less the other day. It was just so much fun, and it’s so flattering because I think both of them are incredible artists, and to get to see their take on the song is really special.”
Social media users appreciated Rodrigo’s comments for her fellow artists, and flocked to the comments to write, “this is such a nice thing to hear from an artist. you can tell olivia genuinely loves seeing other artists put their own spin on her music.”
