Fans waiting for Heated Rivalry season 2 may not have to wait until 2027 to find out what happens next.
Creator Jacob Tierney revealed that many of the season’s biggest clues are already available in Rachel Reid’s books.
The new season will continue the story of hockey stars Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov, which was played by Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie.
While the show is keeping most details secret, Tierney pointed out that fans already have an easy way to learn more.
He, however, shared that almost 90 per cent of what people want to know about the new season can be found in the books.
Season 2 will mainly use the story from The Long Game, the sixth book in Reid’s Game Changers series.
It will also use parts of Role Model, the fifth book.
So, fans who are curious about what happens next can simply read those two books now.
Moreover, there is a catch and which is reading them could give away some major parts of the new season.
Role Model will also bring two new characters into the show. Troy Barrett will be played by Charlie Gillespie, while Justice Smith will play Harris Drover.
Heated Rivalry season 2 is now expected to arrive in 2027.
