Phoebe Bridgers had to suddenly call off her UK shows after the unforeseen circumstances following her recent birthday.
The 32-year-old indie musician took to Instagram and revealed that she got “appendicitis for my birthday” which led to her having to cancel all the shows scheduled in UK this week.
The Graceland Too hitmaker also promised fans that she would make it up to them in the near future.
Fans flocked to the comments and left her wishes for a speedy recovery, writing, “that is genuinely such a cursed birthday story omg.”
Another added, “Not exactly the birthday surprise anyone would ask for. Hope Phoebe’s feeling better!”
A third chimed in, “phoebe really got the most unfortunate birthday plot twist,” and one added, “i hope she’ll be okay.”
