Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo finally gave their fans a clear answer about their friendship.
Cynthia surprised Ariana’s fans when she walked onto the stage during the singer’s London concert on Sunday.
The two stars then sang For Good from Wicked, bringing back the friendship that fans loved the most during the movie’s release.
The moment, however, came after months when people were asking if the two were still close.
The two Hollywood icons spent years working on Wicked together and they were usually seen supporting each other during interviews and events as well.
Once the movie’s promotion ended, moreover, fans noticed that they were not seen together as much.
This then left people asking questions about if something changed between them or not.
Cynthia earlier already said in July that she and Ariana were still talking “almost every day” as she also added that she wanted to attend Ariana’s London show.
After their performance, the Cynthia shared pictures from the night and wrote a very emotional message for Ariana, calling her “my sweet sister” and said she was her “favourite person to sing with”.
Ariana replied that she was grateful for the moment and told Cynthia, “Love you always.”
Cynthia later wrote, “I’ll be back.”
