Audrey Hobert’s career breakthrough has taken her to great places, including the NPR Tiny Desk, which just dropped.
The 27-year-old pop superstar appeared on the acoustic show and performed the hits from her debut album, Who’s The Clown, including Sue Me, Thirst Trap, and more.
Hobert appeared on the show on Thursday, August 13, and mesmerised the crowd with her stripped back performance.
Excited fans flocked to social media and wrote, “her melodies are so catchy!! the instrumentation sounds like early y2k poptimism and she pairs that with modern confessional storytelling!! it’s time for people to recognize her talent.”
Another added, “she’s actually so good!!! her album is so amazing and relatable. she trully is a great writer,” while one exclaimed, “OMMGGKGKGKGKFKDKSKSKS.”
