PARIS: 4Thrives Walee has strengthened Pakistan’s presence on the international esports stage, finishing sixth in the Grand Finals of the PUBG MOBILE World Cup (PMWC) 2026 in Paris after a strong campaign that saw the Pakistani squad top Group A and compete against some of the world’s best teams.

Representing Pakistan at one of the biggest events in mobile esports, 4Thrives Walee secured direct qualification for the Grand Finals with a commanding performance in the group stage before competing across three days of high-pressure action in Paris.

The team opened its PMWC campaign in impressive fashion, finishing at the top of Group A to earn a direct berth in the Grand Finals.

The result placed 4Thrives Walee among the tournament’s leading teams and gave the squad an opportunity to compete against the strongest PUBG MOBILE lineups from around the world.

Although the team fell short of the championship, its sixth-place finish marked another significant achievement for Pakistani esports and demonstrated the squad’s ability to perform consistently against elite international competition.

Throughout the tournament, 4Thrives Walee displayed aggressive gameplay, resilience under pressure and the ability to adapt against experienced international opponents.

The team’s performance also attracted considerable attention from Pakistani esports fans, with supporters following its progress and rallying behind the squad as it represented the country in Paris.

The campaign further highlighted the growing pool of gaming talent in Pakistan and the potential of local players to compete on the world stage.

For Walee, which acquired 4Thrives as part of its expansion into gaming, esports and digital entertainment, the team’s performance represents a significant step toward creating greater international opportunities for Pakistani talent.

Walee spokesperson Waqas Ramzan said the squad’s performance was a source of pride for Pakistan and emphasized the significance of reaching the Grand Finals.

“What 4Thrives has achieved in Paris is something Pakistan should be proud of,” Ramzan said.

He said the team had competed against the best players in the world, topped its group and earned its place in the Grand Finals on merit.

“A world title may have been the dream, but finishing this tournament as finalists on the global stage is an achievement worth celebrating,” Ramzan said, adding that the organization believes the campaign is only the beginning of what the team can accomplish.

4Thrives player Falak said the team entered the competition determined to demonstrate that Pakistani players could compete at the highest level of international esports.

“We came to Paris wanting to show that Pakistan belongs on this stage,” Falak said.

While acknowledging that the team wanted to win the championship, Falak said reaching the Grand Finals, competing against the world’s top teams and representing Pakistan provided valuable experience that the squad could build on in future competitions.

He said the team would use the experience gained in Paris to return stronger and continue its international campaign.

The sixth-place finish adds further momentum to Pakistan’s emerging esports sector, where a growing number of young players are seeking opportunities to compete internationally.

For 4Thrives Walee, the Paris campaign was about more than a final ranking. The team’s journey from topping its group to competing in the Grand Finals demonstrated that Pakistani esports organizations can earn a place alongside established global contenders.

From Pakistan to Paris, 4Thrives Walee leaves the PMWC 2026 with a sixth-place finish, valuable international experience and renewed momentum for its next challenge.
