Los Angeles: A viral Instagram Reel featuring IShowSpeed’s first meeting with BTS during the FIFA World Cup 2026 final has reportedly become one of the platform’s biggest viral hits, generating 300 million views within its first 24 hours, according to widely shared online reports.

If officially confirmed, the Reel would become the most-viewed Instagram Reel in a single day, setting a new benchmark for engagement on the social media platform.

The video captured the popular streamer unexpectedly meeting all seven members of the global K-pop group during the World Cup final.

IShowSpeed’s enthusiastic reaction quickly attracted millions of viewers, with fans praising the interaction between two of the internet’s most influential entertainment figures.

The Reel spread rapidly across Instagram and other social media platforms shortly after it was posted, generating millions of shares, comments and reactions.

The clip gained momentum by bringing together three of the world’s largest audiences football fans watching the World Cup final, BTS’ global fanbase and IShowSpeed’s millions of followers.

The crossover helped transform the encounter into one of the most-discussed moments of the tournament beyond the action on the pitch.

The reported figure of 300 million views in 24 hours has circulated widely across social media and entertainment platforms. However, Meta, the parent company of Instagram, has not officially confirmed the view count or recognised it as a platform record.

Despite the lack of official verification, the Reel has continued to trend globally and remains among the most widely shared videos from the FIFA World Cup 2026 final.

The viral success highlights IShowSpeed’s growing influence in digital entertainment while underscoring BTS’ worldwide popularity and cultural impact.

The interaction also demonstrated the power of combining sports, music and online creators, turning a brief backstage meeting into one of the biggest social media moments associated with the FIFA World Cup 2026.
