William is considering a “peace contract” that would require Harry and Meghan to refrain from making further public criticisms.

LONDON: Prince William is reportedly open to repairing his relationship with his estranged brother, Prince Harry, but only under strict conditions designed to prevent future public disputes involving the British royal family, according to media reports.

The reports follow a meeting on July 10, when King Charles III reportedly hosted Prince Harry, Meghan, and their children at Highgrove House in what was described as a significant step toward family reconciliation.

While the gathering was seen as encouraging, reports claimed the Prince of Wales remained cautious about any rapprochement.

According to Woman’s Day, William is considering a “peace contract” that would require Harry and Meghan to refrain from making further public criticisms of the royal family.

The reported proposal would also bar the couple from discussing senior royals in future interviews or books, prevent unauthorized overseas royal-style engagements, and restrict the commercial use of royal titles.

An unnamed source quoted by the publication said William believes trust must be rebuilt before any reconciliation can occur and that the Prince and Princess of Wales continue to feel hurt by claims made in Harry’s memoir Spare and the couple’s 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey.

The source also claimed William would expect a public apology from both Harry and Meghan.

The British royal family has not publicly commented on the reports, and the details of the alleged conditions have not been independently verified.
